DAY 1 – STANLEY’S CAMP

On arrival at Maun Airport, a representative will meet and assist you to your onward flight.    Depart Maun Airport on a Mack Air shared light aircraft charter flight to Stanley's Camp. The flying time to Stanley's Camp is approximately 15 minutes. Kindly note, however, that all inter-camp flights are subject to multiple pick ups and drop offs en route to your destination which could affect the flying time. On arrival at the airstrip a representative will meet and transfer you to the camp. The transfer time is approximately 20 minutes.

This camp is situated in a 260,000-acre private concession, thus affording guests absolute exclusivity. Guest accommodation consists of 8 classic styled safari tents.   The delicately appointed tents exude classic Africa; handcrafted beds dressed with  the finest linen, antique furniture individually selected and oriental carpets that transport you to early 19th century Africa. Each unit offers en-suite facilities and a private deck. Hammocks and Morris chairs on the decks are perfect for relaxation in the African sunshine.

Activities available at Stanley's Camp include serene mokoro canoe excursions (subject to water levels), exclusive bush dinners, and game drives in customised, open 4 x 4 vehicles - including the rare opportunity of night drives.

As Stanley's Camp is in a private concession, guests also have the exclusive option of walking safaris with an armed professional guide.

DAY 2 : STANLEY’S CAMP

The day is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities on offer. Stanley’s professional guides accompany guests as they learn about the bush from a different perspective, up close and personal with the environment.

Walking safaris is the perfect way to awaken ones senses where guests can touch, feel and

smell the African bush while listening to the various interesting stories the guides have to tell. Walks allow guests to read the news of the night in the smooth sand of the road. Lion, leopard, elephants, genets and even millipedes are all part of the signs, each with their story to tell. Walking safaris is about seeing the small five and the various flora in the area.

DAY 3 – CHIEF’S CAMP

Enjoy a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. A camp representative will transfer you to the airstrip, the transfer time will be advised to you locally by the camp management. Depart Stanley's Camp on a Mack Air shared light aircraft charter flight to Chief's Camp. The flying time to Chief's Camp is approximately 15 minutes. Kindly note, however, that all inter-camp flights are subject to multiple pick ups and drop offs en route to your destination which could affect the flying time.

On arrival at the airstrip a camp representative will meet and transfer you to the camp. The transfer time is approximately 10 minutes.

Chief's Camp is a luxury bush camp situated on Chief's Island in the exclusive Mombo Concession of the Moremi Game Reserve. This region is known as the “predator capital” of Africa and is considered to have the finest game viewing in Botswana including the Big Five.

Chiefs Camp

Guest accommodation comprises of 12 secluded, permanent luxury bush pavilions. Each unit features a thatched roof, spacious seating area, en-suite facilities with indoor and outdoor showers as well as a private game viewing deck and deck chairs. Each unit boasts a generous mosquito net on a four-poster bed, two wardrobes, a bookshelf, writing desk and mini bar.

The main camp complex houses the dining area, bar, curio shop, library and reception area. This structure has been built into the existing landscape, under a heavy canopy of mature Jackalberry, Sausage and Rain trees. The main deck area is split-level and offers expansive views over the floodplain while the lower level of the deck houses an exquisite swimming pool. A range of spa treatments are offered in the treatment room.

Activities include morning and afternoon game drives & seasonal mokoro excursions (subject to water levels). The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities on offer.

DAY 4 – CHIEF’S CAMP

The day is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities on offer. The expert guides always on hand to share a wealth of wildlife knowledge, take guests deep into the bush in specially modified open 4 x 4 vehicles on morning and afternoon game drives to find the secluded place where elephant families congregate in search of the tastiest fruits and berries.

The game viewing opportunities at Chief's Camp are awe-inspiring. On the plains one may find the roaming lions that prey on the thousands of antelope, zebra and buffalo who live here all year round.

Guests may see spot wild dogs. These extremely rare predators have been hunted to the point of extinction in most areas of Africa and this is one of their last strongholds. Intensely curious, painted dogs, as they are known here, are extremely rewarding to view and accessible to only the few.

Chief's is the ideal place to spot the big 5 - perhaps even the rare rhino. There are several local lion prides as well as leopards, genet cats and hyenas are in abundance.

DAY 5 – CHOBE CHILWERO

Enjoy a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. A camp representative will transfer you to the airstrip. The transfer time will be advised to you locally by the camp management. Depart Chief's Camp on a Mack Air shared light aircraft charter flight to Kasane. The flying time to Kasane is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Kindly note, however, that all inter-camp flights are subject to multiple pick ups and drop offs en route to your destination which could affect the

flying time.

On arrival at Kasane Airport a Chobe Chilwero lodge representative will meet and transfer you to the lodge. The transfer time is approximately 10 minutes.

The main public area includes a lounge, outside dining area, dining room and library which are linked to outdoor viewing patios. The wine cellar is temperature controlled and houses a large variety of the finest South African wines.

DAY 6 – CHOBE CHILWERO

The day is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities on offer. The best way to end a day of safari is sipping on a cocktail while watching an African sunset over the still waters of the Chobe River, toasting to the end of yet another beautiful day, while looking forward to what the new day will bring…

Specially designed riverboats take guests up close to elephants as they wade in the river or near to the buffalo who gather on its shores. Sundowner cruises are also a great way of seeing animals up close as they come out of the shade to graze in the cooler evenings.

Chobe is renowned for its abundance of elephants and dramatic sable and roan antelopes with their impressive horns. Sitatungas – antelope with splayed feet to help them run in swamps – are often seen here, as are the wild dog and lion that prey upon them.

DAY 7 – DEPART CHOBE CHILWERO

Enjoy a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. You will transfer via a ferry crossing to Livingstone Airport.

The transfer time will be advised to you locally by the lodge management. The transfer time with be approximately 1 hr 30 minutes. Please note depending on the passport you carry a visa may be required to enter Zambia.
